A One day hands-on workshop for Architecture Students to Explore the Construction and Structural Principles of Gothic Architecture. The Workshop involves Constructing Gothic pointed Arches, Flying Buttresses, Catenary and study of light.

Through a Series of Explorations with Plywood Models built Alongside Experienced Carpenters, the students Understand how Gothic Arches were Constructed. The workshop Provides a Broader Understanding of Social Conditions and Cultural Aspects that Led to the Design of Gothic Arches.

Through live- real time and hands on Constructions and a Simulated study of loading Patterns, etc – the Studio gets a Practical Understanding of Structure and Light.
The Studio Combines Drawing Skills and Critical Thinking, Hands-On Construction, and Carpentry Through a range of Experiments.The Studio Explores New Directions for Emerging Technologies.
