Why do we document?
Is it necessary to learn and intepret history?
How Is it relevant in contemporary times?
These are question that often linger amongst students with respect to history in the Architectural curriculum.
The three day long documentation workshop mentored by Prof.Joseph Aranha,Fulbright scholar and academician from the Texas Tech University at Moovar Kovil, Pudukkottai , answered these questions in style. Interspersed with lectures amidst site visits and studio work students learned to observe and abstract information from buildings of historical and heritage value.
