P.G. Diploma in Learning Disabilities

The duration of the course is 12 months.

Besides theory paper on Basic Psychology, Learning Disabilities and Management, Learning Disabilities Case Work – Diagnoses, Learning Disabilities Remedial Measures Practical Case work (Intervention), and Medical Aspects in Children and Adolescents, the students have to do two practical papers, the first paper train students to identify and assess children with Learning Disabilities in normal schools and the second paper provides opportunity to conduct remedial classes for children with Learning Disabilities in regular schools.

Post Graduate Diploma in Learning Disabilities course aimed to orient students to the Basics in Psychology, Child Development and Learning Disabilities and offer training in remedial teaching. The students who pass P.G. Diploma in Learning Disabilities can be employed as Special Educators in Learning Disabilities in various schools and educational institutes.

Besides they can independently work as Special Educators in Learning Disabilities.

The candidates will have TWO days Theory and THREE days practical classes in regular Schools.
